The NHL kicked the 2014-15 hockey season off in style this year, with a massive street party at Dundas Square. Yonge Street was closed down to host a ton of vendors sporting hockey themed kiosks for every rabid hockey fan in the hood…and of course when you think of Canada, you think of two things…Hockey and The Tragically Hip.
The Hip headlined the days festivities with a massive concert on Yonge Street to thousands and thousands of hockey fans chomping at the bit for some hockey and Hip. Lucky for me I was working all day long and managed to snap off some shots of both the Hip’s soundcheck in the afternoon and their performance that evening.
